She’s funny.
She’s caring.
She lives her life – every day.
Sometimes I wonder how much one person can handle.
But there’s one thing I don’t have to wonder about – her strength.
I don’t remember how I first happened across Anissa Mayhew’s blog. However, after reading this post “A Letter of Apology to My Kids” I was taken. I was impressed by her honesty. I wanted to hug my kids, hug her, curse the cancer. All of that emotion from one blog post.
On Tuesday, November 17, Anissa suffered a massive stroke. Her journey to recovery is being documented by her husband, Peter, over at Hope 4 Peyton.
I’ve never met Anissa in real life.
We’ve skyped a couple times.
Tweeted a few times.
Left a blog comment here or there.
But she’s been a constant in my life.
Constant humor, constant compassion, constant strength.
Sayin’ a prayer for the Mayhews,
