He was a 35-year-old man.
He was a dedicated husband.
He was a proud father of two.
He was a man who worked so he could make a lot of money and retire to spend time with his family.
This sounds like it could be many of us.
He worked in his basement and developed an online trading system which he sold to Cantor Fitzgerald. He started working for them as a computer analyst just two weeks prior to September 11, 2001. He and 657 other Cantor Fitzgerald employees lost their lives in the World Trade Center.
Today I remember Steven Goldstein.
Steven was from Princeton, New Jersey and loved spending time with his wife, Jill, and their two children, 1-year-old Harris and 3-year-old Hanna.
He had season tickets to the Knicks but preferred to stay home with his family and rarely made it to the games. Steven was a member of the Jewish fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi, while attending the University of Michigan.
